Our little CC is two years old!!
For Halloween this year we ventured to South Orange for trick-or-treating. This was the girls' first experience dressing up in costume and going door-to-door. It was extremely windy, but they seemed oblivious to the climate.
SJ was an Indian princess.
CC was a Penn State cheerleader.
Thanks PopPop for the cheerleading custome
Our little CC is one year old! Time has gotten away from us and before we knew it our little one went from a baby to a screaming, bubbly toddler in a blink of an eye. I feel bad because I haven't even planned her first birthday party yet. In the next two weeks I will get something together for her, I'm thinking a beach themed soiree.
Ms. CC is 9 Months! She has perfected her walk and can now walk in a circle. She loves to climb on things, and tries daily to climb up the stairs in our house. She is still a solid nurser and loves "Tity Time", we feed her Earth's Best Organics.
I have a feisty 8 month old who is walking and babbling like she's been here for a year. CC began to walk (10 steps at a time) during the second week of her eighth month. She simply bypassed the whole cruising phase and went from a fast crawl/scoot to standing/walking. She is so petite and fine-boned that its quite a sight to see her walking around getting into things. She has discovered she can open a draw and pull EVERYTHING out of it. She also has an uncanny ability to spot the smallest particle on the floor to place in her mouth. She has her central incisor teeth and her Maxillary teeth have begun to emerge. She has taken to hitting and screaming at her sister to get access to whatever SJ has in her possession. We have been encouraging self-feeding to improve her hand to mouth coordination.
CC is seven months! True to her Aries nature she is a bundle of energy and loves physicality. She is already standing on her own (for about 3 seconds). She is determined to free-stand and just last night she attempted to move on foot to take a step! She is moving fast. I estimate by Christmas she will be walking. She loves to wrestle with her sister and doesn't mind getting knocked around. When she doesn't like something or when SJ is unwilling to share with her she will let out a loud bellow and charge her. It's the funniest thing I've ever seen. She loves water. I guess our summer trip to PR got her acclimated to being in water. She goes gaga over bath time.
She is still a strong nurser and unlike her sister has a strong attachment to me. She has finally allowed D to occupy her while I'm away, but as soon as I'm in her presence she only wants to nurse.

CC is six months old!
CC is sitting up unassisted now which is great because she is spending more time on the floor and less time attached to me in the Moby wrap.
All CC wants wants to do is stand on everyone and everything. She has begun to pull herself up on the edge of the sofa. I'm sure she will be taking steps by Christmas. It seems like she skipped the whole crawling stage, and went immediately to standing.
CC's favorite position is standing on our laps and bouncing up and down getting her leg muscles strong. I dug out SJ's walker and got it cleaned up in preparation for CC this week.
CC is 5 months old! She is able to recognize her name when it's called and she is trying in vain to sit up unassisted.
