Our little Papito is one, well actually he is 14 months. I decided to forgo a birthday party this year because we are not yet in a house. Next year we will do a huge shindig for him and his sisters to celebrate the year's missed party.

Lil D was ten days old when we visited Cynthia's studio for his newborn pictures. I told her I wanted an ethereal feeling setup, and would dress the girls as angels. She captured my vision to the T- complete with baby angel wings, clouds, and ambient white light.

Celebrating Abuela's Birthday
Papito is 5 Months
Today marks the third week of Papito's fifth month. He is teething heavily and using my nipple as a chew toy. He's using his little gums to clamp down on my nipple and it hurts just as much as teeth. Today, I decided to supplement his breast milk with puréed food.
On the menu, baked organic sweet potato, organic garbanzo beans, and breast milk. I debated adding cinnamon, in the end I decided to keep it simple.
A gift from my Amazon registry was this Foodii brand Kiinde feeding system. We used to store the puréed mix in super cute single use squeeze bags. With the three potatoes and one can of chick peas I was able to fill 24 4 oz bags.
Now, I have to check Dr. Sebi's Nutrition Guide to see which combos to do next.
Daniel The Third
Daniel Negus Cruz III is our newest treasure. He was the surprise pregnancy, well not really because what do you expect when you engage in unprotected sex. He has the marking of a warrior. At only five months he is vocal in his discomfort, no tears but a loud bellow. He is easy to comfort and sleeps like a narcoleptic. He is intended to be the last of our brood, and as the baby and only boy I'm certain he will be inundated with love from all directions. It's a challenge now to keep his sisters from trying to smother the poor kid on a daily basis.
Now you know I'm a photography junkie and I went overboard with pictures of this little guy. It began with a pregnancy photo shoot, followed by a Fresh 48 photo shoot, and finally his newborn/family pictures. All were taken by the super talented Cynthia of CYTB Photography.
